Welcome to The Jordan's Appeal
Hello, Just a note to give you a little information as to who "The Jordan's" are: And what "The Jordan's Appeal" is all about. We have been living in the village of Newton in Swansea for the past five years. Sadly, David was diagnosed with prostate cancer in the October of 2004. To say that it was a shock is no mean understatement as we had spent that summer planning our wedding which took place on December 29th that year.
The results of David's company medical told us to get in touch with our G.P. regarding The P.S.A. test. From that appointment we then met with Mr Neil Fenn, who is the Consultant Urologist at Morriston Hospital.
In grateful appreciation of all that Neil Fenn has done for David, I offered to organise an event each year over a five year period which would raise money for the The Prostate Cancer Research Fund.(E0215).
We started with a Party, Auction and Raffle at the King Arthur Hotel in Reynoldston in October 2007 and this year we are planning a Sponsored Walk.

The fundraising party at The King Arthur Hotel raised the grand total of £4170.83.
(This total included the sum of £70 which was raised by a raffle in the Mumbles branch of the Principality Building Society).
